Forming Form:

– How Movement Shapes Psychotherapists' Practical Knowledge

My PhD thesis,Forming Form: How Movement Shapes Psychotherapists' Practical Knowledge, explores the often-overlooked wisdom of the moving, feeling, and sensing body in a culture that prioritizes abstract and quantifiable knowledge. Drawing on Aristotle's concept of phronesis—the capacity to act wisely and appropriately in particular situations—this research examines how movement and bodily knowing cultivate practical wisdom and professional judgment.

The thesis is available online through Middlesex University. An extended version is also available as a physical book
